Closing of account, how and why

At some point, you may find yourself wanting to close your account with us. Whether it's because your interests have changed or you simply no longer have the time to use our services, we understand that things change. However, due to legal reasons, we are unable to completely delete accounts from our system.

But don't worry, we have another solution that may work for you!

Self-Exclude Your Account

If you no longer wish to use our services, you can use self-exclusion on your account. This will remove your ability to use any of our services for the time you set, but your account will still exist in our system. This means that if you ever decide to come back, you can easily continue to use your account and pick up where you left off - when the given time is exceeded. It is not possible to change the time you have set for self-exclusion.

How to Self-Exclude Your Account

To self-exclude your account, simply follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Sustainable Gaming-section of your account.

  2. Under “Self-exclusion”, choose the duration of your exclusion and activate it by clicking the “Add limit” button

  3. A window will appear for you to confirm your action.

Once you have completed these steps, your account will be deactivated and your profile will be removed from our platform. Please note that this action cannot be undone, so make sure you are certain before proceeding.

Contacting Support For Closure

If you want to close the account for x amount of time and do not want to use the self-exclusion option we have on the site, you can contact our support team in the chat - and we will assist you with this. Please provide the support team with the wanted time and your reason for the closure.

Why We Can't Delete Accounts

As mentioned earlier, we are unable to completely delete accounts from our system due to legal reasons. This is to ensure the safety and security of our platform and our users. We take privacy and data protection very seriously, and this is just one of the measures we have in place to protect our users.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we hope that our solution of deactivating accounts will still allow you to have control over your personal information and use our services in a way that works for you.
