General Rule for Postponed & Abandoned Matches
Our primary rule covers both postponed (not started) and abandoned (started but not completed) matches under a single 48-hour timeframe.
For a bet to stand, the event must be started or resumed, and played to completion, within 48 hours of the original scheduled start time.
If the match does not take place within this 48-hour window, all bets that have not already been determined will be void, and your stake will be refunded.
Key Exceptions to this Rule:
Already-Settled Bets: Any bet on a market that has already been unconditionally determined before an abandonment will stand. For example, if you bet on the "First Goalscorer" and a goal was scored before the match was stopped, that bet is settled as usual.
Sport-Specific Rules: This is a general rule and does not apply to all sports. Many sports have their own unique rules that override this 48-hour timeframe (e.g., Tennis, American Football, Baseball). Always check the specific rules for the sport you are betting on.
Please Note on Rescheduled Matches: Matches that have their start time altered well in advance for reasons like accommodating live TV broadcast or to ease fixture congestion may not be classified as postponed, at our discretion. In these cases, all bets will stand.
Sport-Specific Rules
⚽ Football (Soccer)
Postponed & Abandoned Matches: Football follows the 48-hour rule. If a match is postponed or abandoned, it must be played within 48 hours of the original kick-off time for bets to stand. Bets on markets that have already been unconditionally decided will be settled.
Football BetBuilder Bets:
Postponement: The 48-hour rule applies. If the match does not start within 48 hours of the original kick-off, the entire BetBuilder bet is void.
Abandonment: If a match is abandoned, the bet is settled as follows:
If the bet includes a player who did not participate before the abandonment, the BetBuilder is void.
If any selection within the BetBuilder has already lost, the bet is settled as a loser.
If every selection is already a winner, the bet is settled as a winner.
Otherwise (no losing selections, but at least one is undecided), the BetBuilder is void.
🏒 Ice Hockey
Postponed & Abandoned Matches: Bets stand if the game is played within 24 hours of the original start time. If not, bets are void unless their outcome was already determined.
🎾 Tennis
Postponed & Delayed Matches: If a match is delayed or postponed, all bets remain active until the match is officially completed within the same tournament, regardless of the length of the delay.
🏈 American Football (NFL)
Postponed & Abandoned Games: Bets stand as long as the game is played within the same NFL weekly schedule (Thursday to Wednesday, local time). If it's moved outside this week, all bets are void.
NFL BetBuilder Bets:
Postponement: The "weekly schedule" rule applies.
Abandonment: If a game is abandoned, the bet is settled as follows:
If a player in the bet did not take the field for at least one play, the BetBuilder is void.
If any selection has already lost, the bet is settled as a loser.
If all selections are already winners, the bet is settled as a winner.
Otherwise, the BetBuilder is void.
⚾ Baseball
Postponed Games: If a game does not start on its scheduled calendar day (local time), all bets are void.
Suspended Games: If a game starts but is suspended, bets stand if it resumes within 36 hours of the original start time.
🏀 Basketball
Postponed Games: If a game does not start on its scheduled calendar day (local time), all bets are void.
Suspended Games: Bets stand if a suspended game resumes within 36 hours of the original start time. Otherwise, bets are void unless already determined.
Basketball BetBuilder Bets:
Postponement: The "scheduled calendar day" rule applies.
Abandonment: If a game is abandoned, the bet is settled as follows:
If the bet includes a player who did not participate, the BetBuilder is void.
If any selection has already lost, the bet is settled as a loser.
If every selection is already a winner, the bet is settled as a winner.
Otherwise, the BetBuilder is void.
🎮 Esports
Postponed Matches: If a match does not start within 30 hours of its scheduled start time, all bets are void.
Abandoned Matches / Voided Maps: If a team retires, disconnects, or is disqualified, all bets on the overall match outcome are void. Bets on individual maps that were fully completed will stand.
